O'Dell Residence

Mt. Tabor

This residence was in need of a more updated look and the owners wanted a design that reflected their lifestyle and love of travel. By creating more efficient circulation in a 1980 track home this gave a sense of larger spaces and promoted flexible use of area. A generous home office and entertainment room converts to a cozy desk alcove and guest room  with the slide of a shoji screen wall. A more open kitchen plan works for the client requirement for multiple cooks in the small kitchen when friends gather.

The living room was restructured to allow for prominent space for treasured artifacts collected from years of world travel which add to the international design.

The entry way featured a personalized gallery wall that gracefully displays the client's photographs. This gallery wall not only gave the home a personal touch but created an aesthetically pleasing block of color and texture.

The bathroom utilized a Japanese soaking tub specifically chosen with frosted glass for maximizing natural light and ensuring privacy.
