Sohlberg Residence 

This family wanted an update and more contemporary look that would simultaneously fit with their traditional-style home. The master bath and living space were restructured and updated with new floor plans to better suite their family of five's needs.

Passive solar design and sustainable materials were the focus of the master bath. Creating a simplistic space that draws from the natural world's colors and textures, images of rain, stone, wood, and natural light from two skylights all work to open up the space and create a spa-like atmosphere. 

Sustainable features include porcelain/bamboo flooring, recycled glass tile, locally sourced concrete countertops, operable skylights, low VOC paint and wood sealer, dual flush toilet, and high pressure, low flow rain shower head.
